Vul.: None

Sitting south, you hold:

D: AQXXX
C: JTXXX

East opens 1H, what do you bid?

Nothing from me this time. Half tempted by 2NT, but I think I'll resist temptation this time around.

2NT seems obvious, but has a problem. It is likely LHO will raise to 3 or 4 hearts, after which pard may not bid 4S unless he has 7 of them (or super 6).

So, if you're ok with the problem above, by all means bid 2NT. Otherwise you can... double.

I'd sooner double than bid 2NT

At our table, auction progressed as follows

1D - (1S) - 4H - (4S)
X - (4N) - P - (5C)
X - All pass

1D was MOSCITO showing 4+ Hearts.
The player holding a 3=0=5=5 overcalled 1S.
The first double showed cards

Imagine my surprise when the player holding AKxxx in Spades and 3 Clubs to the Queen decided to declare a club contract which rolled home.

He probably thought 4NT was Ace-asking :) :D

I'd probably bid 2NT, followed by 4 if that's still possible, describing my hand exactly.

No idea what he thought it was, but after bidding 5 his LHO doubled and this was passed out!
