Given an auction like say 1♣ (strong; artificial) - (1♥) (natural) - 1N (GF with stopper), it seems like opener's rebids should be natural, with the cue-bid (2♥) probably reserved for Stayman or something along those lines.

Note that in the case of artificial overcalls (say if their 1♥ showed ♥ OR 2-other suits), using the cue for Stayman likely doesn't make sense. One possibility is to use 2♣ as Stayman, and show single suited ♣ hands with 2♠, but it consumes a lot of space (especially if the overcall is at the 2-level and responder bid 2N to show the balanced GF).

Do the folks on the forum have any special agreements regarding the above?
