Feeling a bit down, having just let my country down

22 defences and 9 declares with 1 pass out

Sadly my defence was not great today

I'm sure that ratio is not that unusual but interesting to see the difference between declaring and defence work

The results are in and it truly is sad.

Slightly better defence by your truly (and others) could have improved our country's standings

I don't know what the model/formula is but can I suggest it perhaps needs a few tweaks

"Could Have Been Champions" springs to mind

This tourney is not "best hand" format, so you should expect to defend about half the time. 22 defenses out of 32 is a little unlucky, but not outrageous.

There's no model/formula, it's purely random.
