As robots are free today I have played some boards against three bots, and this was interesting

North has a bidding problem and I would probably have doubled 1N, but 2 is also OK.

On general rules a trump lead is suggested and is actually the killing lead, but the bot decided to lead a , and tried to cash K at trick 3.

Now follow the play to trick 9, where I ruffed a and West underruffed with 7 - in my book denying a higher . Now follow to trick 11, where the bot in the simulation finds that partner still can have Q and ruffs with 5 - 11 tricks

Good defense by East-West GIBs to hold the contract to 11 tricks. Lesser bots might have allowed 12 tricks.

Interesting that one bot found the 5 lead

You did pique my interest enough to actually check this claim
Remarkable that finding the right lead depends on whether North is human or a bot :)
Did the bidding mean something different perhaps :)

But I ran a DD sim using the basic parameters on the bidding. It too used a spade lead

I couldn't run a sim on the human north hands :)
