robot fails to recover from ace ask should be allowed to escape into 5Nbidding

So you bought the farm, pushed the envelope but didn't have the "right stuff".
If only South had led away from their Ace, all would be fine Ace.
To be fair, it is tricky to bid 5♣ over your 5♦, West did his best.
Or, you could pass 4NT, which is the 'optimal contract' anyway.
