Voice facility on a teaching table.

Is this facility still working? I have never used it but have just tried it on a teaching table without success. It may be just me but thought I would check whether the very recent discontinuation of Flash player might have something to do with it.

We migrated the voice service from Flash to HTML several years ago, and it hasn't been available in Flash since then. So the recent Flash discontinuation should have nothing to do with it.

Sometimes there are glitches and it may fail, but it should generally work.

I have tried using Voice whilst on a teaching table several times and never been successful. Using macOS Catalina I get as far as the blue voice button changing to yellow but on clicking "Ready to Speak" my computer completely hangs up and I have to spend several minutes trying to "Force Quit" BBO. Someone suggested emptying the cache but that has made no difference. Is there a solution ???????
