The recent update has improved the perceived responsiveness everywhere, or maybe it was not exactly the update but happened about the same time. Pulling up tournament history, convention cards, it's just more zippy now, thank you!

Perhaps the change freed up resources to improve response times.

It might make some sense (see GUI post) to give users a choice of interface and visual issues cause problems on small screens in particular.

I still miss flash although not on some apps...
