I'm quietly practising in Prime when two days in a row GIB decides to bid like a maniac for some players and normally for others. What's going on?
Normal 1s pass 2S pass pass pass: https://tinyurl.com/y5u3du6d
Bidding with me 1S pass 2S P P - thinks for a while - 3D PPP https://tinyurl.com/y6zsnhjl

What is the point of paying extra $ so I can have a bit of relaxation practice and fun in Prime with this happening all the time.

It seems to be a new 'feature' it's only been this bad (wildly erratic bidding) quite recently.
Here's a screenshot of the alert.
Is this really the way balancing/protection is supposed to work?
Would you do this with a partner playing 2/1 of any kind?

Pass is for beginners and LoTT deniers. 2N (Scrambling aka "two places to play") seems normal.

All of which may be true but does not explain the bistable state behaviour of the computer program.
What is happening here is that at the same session, different players are getting two completely different computer programs to play against.

The result of this computer bug is that some players get a 'good' result and others get a bad result.

It is almost as though I am paying to be a 'beta' tester for the software engineers at BBO. As opposed to playing a game on a level-playing field.

It is not a Bridge problem it's a software problem.

Clearly, it is reasonable to expect that at the session the same opponents play the hands the same way.

How would you feel if you were playing in a competition and one north-south pair were playing against two beginners but when the round change happened you get Cohen and Bergen.

That is exactly what is happening here.

It is wrong, it is a bug and I would be grateful if BBO would acknowledge it and fix it. Please.

It's not a bug; I've told you this before.

If you don't believe me, then you can believe barmar, who confirmed that they only use the same seeds in tournaments.
