SHOWS HOW TO :



Create Master ACBL BBO Convention Card used in Cloning

Clone Master ACBL BBO ( Personal Card ) , for your many Partners you play with

Using TITLE, NAMES, and Partner - Boxes to Differentiate each Partner and Card

Fine Tune and Edit Different Conventions used for Different Partners

Deleting OLD Clutter of OLD unused Convention Cards under Personal Cards

Printing and Saving and emailing your ACBL Convention Card PDF Copies by partner

NOTE: Person with Convention Card Should Invite Partner, so Card loads properly in Game !!!

Example Process :



General Info :



1. I Used the the ACBL SAYC template for Convention Card

Easier to use and quickly Find Info in a Fast Pace Game

Everyone is used to it from Club Play.



2. I ignored the "Book Style" Convention Card templates

Most Flight "C" or Novice players have never seen before.

This puts weaker players at a disadvantage for online games.

"Book Style" Takes too Long to Read in a fast Pace game.

Easier to look at checkmarks and Fields, on a Standard ACBL card.

For those with English as a Second Language, "Book Style" is BAD.



MY MASTER Convention Card ( Favorite ACBL Card )



3. Using the ACBL SAYC template I made my most common Card I use.

I entered MY most Standard Conventions I like. I did a careful EDIT.

I saved my MASTER ( Favorite ) Card with a Good Title

Title: "Favorite KERNSY- SA. JAN 2021"



CLONE the MASTER Convention Card for each BBO Partner



4. I then Opened the Master Copy and Cloned a Copy of MASTER, for each Partner !!

I changed the TITLE BOX with date and SA plus, My Name & Name of Partner.

On the Names: BOX I entered real firstnames, or BBO Names

In the PARTNER BOX, I put Their BBO name of MY Partner

SAVE Changes > Then BACK

Clone the Master ACBL SAYC Favorite Card again for next BBO Partner !



NOTE:: The PARTNER BOX is Critical ! DO NOT Duplicate the same person twice.



NOTE: Close BBO before trying to Delete OLD Convention Cards , LOGIN to BBO



5. After EDITS, Close BBO

Login to BBO Account > Convention Cards

Under Personal Cards, Select Old Convention Cards , Double-Click on card

Use the DELTE KEY , then OK to erase each Old Convention Card



NOW: FINE TUNE Each Cloned Convention Card for DIFFERENT PARTNERS



6. Login BBO ; Account > Convention Cards

Open desired Card by looking at Partner BBO name in Personal Cards

Edit Changes , SAVE Changes , BACK if done.

Card will LOAD Automatically into BBO, each time you both Login to win Master Points

NOTE: Person with Convention Card Should Invite Partner, so Card loads properly in Game !!!



NOW SHARE your Convention Cards with each Different Partner



7. After your PC is up on the Home WiFi LAN, power on the Printer.



Login to BBO Account > Convention Cards

Click on the Convention Card you want, Select VIEW

Print Button ,

Select your Physical Printer, Select Landscape Layout, then ( Color or B/W )

Print and Send via US Mail ( SLOW MAIL )



OR .....>>>>>> SHARE the PDF copy of the ACBL Card via eMail



Login to BBO Account > Convention Cards

Click on the Convention Card you want, Select VIEW

Hit the Print Button ,

Select Under Printer Selection Choices >> Save as PDF

Choose Landscape LAYOUT

Choose Color or B/W

Hit SAVE

Choose the Folder you want to Save the PDF file to

Give Convention Card File a good Name like : .....

" KERNSY_MARK_SA_Bridge Base Online.pdf ""

Compose eMail , add comments,

and Attach File for that partner and Send
