strange lead, robot paid for it

So why exactly a low club? I think there is no human alive that would lead a low club in this auction,
for exactly what happened.

If you check with GIB's double dummy analysis, you'll see that the low club lead didn't cost any tricks.

Yes I know I could overcome any lead double dummy.
However, the lead was impossible for its GIB partner to decipher with
any certainty.

Some things are simply so easy, why tinker? If I have JT9x, always lead the jack.

You could say that about a good percentage of GIB's defense over many hands. TBH, many of GIB's leads are very "mysterious" which give partner no clue about what to continue.
