Unfortunately GIB had to cater to the Hoi Polloi who double for punishment and cuebid the suit of interference as takeout.

Nowadays GIB often seems to make calls that are in blatant conflict with it's disclosed methods.
If GIB's programmers simply prevented GIB from making such psychs, its performance would improve significantly.
