I find that the notification from players, either losing connection or just leaving very useful to enable good tournament continuity.

However - in my experience - if the players' link is lost only for a second I still get a notification - which in many cases is not necessary.

A built-in delay would prove very useful for 'false' calls. A 5-second delay would solve this problem.

Maybe two, different ones? one immediately, one 20s in?

It is good to know if "ktracey" (made up name, if it's real, I apologize) is bouncing every round, even if she comes back immediately every time - it's still worth keeping an eye on in case the 5th time is the one that doesn't come back.
