This could either be activated by other players or something that is set by the player as an automatic reminder. Useful especially when you have confirmed bid set and you haven't confirmed.

Hi
Go to Account, Settings and switch Sound effects on.
Then you can set a bunch of other options including the ones you describe.
It is a bit annoying if you are practising with friends on a zoom meeting though.
