Spurious spaces in usernames bug or what

I have a user that plays regularly in my tournaments. Her username is 'AAA00' (not the real username but three letters followed by two digits). In the results somehow a space gets added between the letters and digits so it becomes 'AAA 00'. No-one with that username (including the space) exists. So where is this space coming from? She is the only one it affects. It completely screws with my results service! Your assistance would be appreciated.

Which results are you referring to? I can't think of any of our tools that would add a space in the middle of a username.
