Hi,

In “Express – Free Automated Fun” tournaments, majority of Polish players don’t play 2/1 and bid with respect to Polish Club which leads to unexpected results, mostly against the declarer.

Is there a way to force the players to play 2/1 as required?

The players are requested to play it, what more could be done?

Well, one thing. If people are basically using the robot system, the bid descriptions could come up like they do when you are playing with robots. Then people unfamiliar with the system could play it.

They could also define a more realistic 2/1 system (something like Bridge World Standard 2017) which would be easier and more profitable for real world players to adapt to. Who knows or cares what US robots played 20 years ago.

If you play with robots on BBO, you need to know what US robots played 20 years ago because that's basically what GIB plays now.
