I would like to create a bidding practice for my students.
I would use Zoom.The exercise is about opener's rebid.
The students would see one hand and I would like to bid (as responder) without showing the hand. So, all the students see are 1 hand and 1 bid.
Is this possible?
Many thanks

I presume that everyone is discussing the hand on Zoom but are all logged into BBO.

Then you can create a Teaching table in the Practice area. In the menu, under Teaching options, you can restrict the kibitzers to see just one hand, say South, while allowing the host (you) to see them all.

Now you probably want to use the Deal source option to give South opening bids and North a response. Easiest to do this in the Advanced tab of Deal source.

Set the Dealer to just South, so that your students always open the bidding.

The use the following input to Dealer:

((hcp(south) >= 12 ) && (hcp(north) >= 6 ))

Obviously this could be more complicated but this is sufficient for you to test the concept if you do not have hands available.

You can test the hands being generated by clicking Redeal.

When you are confident this is working, invite people to the table and sit in the appropriate places. You can either put a student as South or yourself in both North and South.

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades
