I have been teaching my husband how to play bridge on BBO and he has asked several times which hand is the dummy while he is declarer (since both hands are visible). I think someone had mentioned this fix earlier: maybe BBO can underline the dummy hand in red or another color. This might be helpful, even for more experienced players.

Or, make declarer's hand South like it is in almost all the textbooks on Bridge, and arrange dummy in 4 vertical columns by suits, trumps (if any) on the left, ordered by descending card rank as specified in the laws of bridge.

If you switch to the Hand Diagram mode, dummy has a grey backgroun.d
