Issues when logging into Casual Bridge unable to invite friends into game

When I log in, I can see my friends ( people I follow) . If I then click on Casual games, many of my friends disappear and I am unable to set up a table. If I know my friends are online and I try to set up a game , the system tells me they are not online.

Has anyone encountered this? What can I do to fix this?
