How often has this sort of thing occurred? Any thoughts on what is going on?

Once upon a time GIB didn't always beat 6NT with 2 Aces on lead How about when it has 11 sure tricks and won't bid to the 5-level?

I don't see how GIB can possibly bid at the 5 level with only 17 HCP.
Besides that, there may be a bad club break 
Outstanding defense to hold 4♥ to only 10 tricks. Lesser defenders would allow 11 or 12 tricks.

GIB just doesn't know how to bid freak hands. I think I've posted in the past that it won't even get there with 13 solid spades.
