Swiss Tournament Playing the Same Pairs 3 times

I run a regular tournament for my club, 12 boards 6 rounds. I decided to run it as a Swiss for the first time and had 17 tables. The two pairs at the top played each other three time in succession. I appreciated that pairs may play each other more than once but three times in a tournament this size seems excessive. Is this very unusual? The hand record is at

Is there something I can do to avoid it?

You can ask BBO to avoid “Danish” movements, except possibly for the last round.
