Hi
Has anyone come across this. An advert from BSkyB Ltd (no longer exists) is covering my friends BBO screen and she can’t get rid of it. It’s not happening on any of her other applications. If she clicks on the close x it asks for personal details and is offering aniPhone 11 for £1 apparently. She can’t play at the moment because of this. She has run her virus software and there’s nothing coming up. She’s IT literate so not something daft she is doing. She has changed all passwords and even the router. If she doesn’t respond she eventually gets thrown out of BBO and when she logs back in it reappears.
This is in the UK
Any ideas welcome
Thanks

We'll check. Sounds like a malicious ad slipped through the filters and is hijacking the browser.
Sorry about this, we'll report it and block as soon as possible.
