Apologies if this is a really basic question, but my friends and I have started playing on our table in casual and really enjoy looking and talking over a hand before the next one, but BBO just deals out the next hand immediately, and if we all click into history to review the last, the first bidder of the next hand gets bounced off the table. There must be a way to prevent this - can any one elucidate?

The traditional BBO user does not like delay, unlike many of those who have joined more recently. BBO tries to guess when a player has abandoned their seat so that the game can continue and you are seeing one consequence of its approach.

The host should set the 'Permission required to play' table option. This should be sufficient to prevent this happening.

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades
