Tournament Invitations/chats Let us know if we've missed an invitation or chat

I've invited people a number of times and we've managed to miss each other, since the invite disappears after a bit - times out. Or, I'll send them a chat. Then, when my friend gets back to their computer, they don't know that I've been trying to reach them. Is there a way to indicate to them that someone has sent them a chat or that they've been invited, in case they're interested but been busy elsewhere temporarily?
