Team event - no barometer scoring - halftime score

Let's say I set up a team game WITHOUT barometer scoring where we plan to play 24 boards. After we finish 12 boards, can you now temporarily turn on barometer scoring to let everyone see the scores for the first 12 boards, then turn barometer scoring back off for the final 12 boards?

This let's you play as if you were playing a real face to face knockout match with a halftime comparison.
