Is there a way to choose MP or IMP on ACBL speedball?

Sometimes the scoring on ACBL Speedball tournaments is IMP and sometimes it is MP. Can one choose MP or iMP or is it a BBO decision?

We choose. The even hours (US Eastern time) are IMP, the odd hours are MP.
