2N if you play it as a raise, otherwise 1 then 4 shows this.

Whichever bid you have agreed with partner to show a strong raise. 2NT is a common agreement.

If you have no such agreement, bid some suit (1 or 2, probably), and then next time make a hearts bid which you are sure is forcing. If you are not sure, just jump to 4 on next round.

Whilst 2NT (or sometimes 2) is useful when played as a game-forcing raise, bidding 1 may work out better. You might, for example, find a double fit and enable to bid a slam. Also, if partner’s 1 bid promises five, you might find that a 4-4 spade fit yields an extra trick at game, although of course it could be a riskier contract.

Some play 2C as a semi-artificial 2/1 raise, which works out nicely here: if opener now bids 2S then you raise it fixing trumps and inviting control-bid, knowing that you have double fit.

Hi,

absent conventions, that Show a gameforcing raise, 1S gives you the best Chance
to find out, if slam is on.
You know game is on, but you Need to find out, if slam is on.

If Partner makes min. showing bid usually 1NT (12-14 bal.) or 2H 6+ at most 15HCP,
or makes a min raise of your suit,
those three Option will cover 50+% of the Hands opener has, you know slam is not on,
than you can bid 4H and the bidding is over.

If you are unsure, where to end up, dont rush, give Partner the max. room to descibe his
Hand.
