unable to add image Tried to add small test image after watching helpful video

There is an insert image icon on this editor that I have tried to use:

But when I preview the post I get: "!You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board".

You can't use links to Google Drive. They wrap the image in their web page, so it's not a direct link to the image.

Upload to an image sharing site like imgur.com or snag.gy and use the direct embedding link.

Sorry, it looks like this is a limitation of the forum software. It expects the URL to end in a filename suffix like .png, .jpg, etc., and Google Drive doesn't do that. Those instructions are more approrpriate for when you're creating a web site of your own.

No worries, imgur works like a charm and is easy to manage.
