my first reaction was we were about to bid the same board twice, until I had a slightly closer look! the other hands bore no similarities on the two boards, so I suspect it was just a total fluke rather than some sort of computer error.

Just got back from the club duplicate, picked up these two hands back to back

The natural thing to do when this happens is to check the back of your cards, but you need to avoid giving away your concern to the other players (esp. partner).

Not similar whatsoever: 8 cards different, 5 cards the same

Did you check the board numbers?,that's a BIG clue (!)

I've had this happen a couple of times in club games. One of the times there was a problem: The club also taught bridge. The boards were part of a teaching series for declarers. No one shuffled them. None of the people in the game realized what had happened until LONG after the game. I just happened to notice, since I once taught the class.
