How can partner GIB sit quietly?

Can you imagine selling out to 4♥ with north hand after partner has overcalled 2♦?
Come on Gib. You've got 5-card trump support and 2 aces, opposite obvious heart shortness in partner's hand.



Such a variety and volume of pain that GIB dishes out day in and day out. Would he do this as your opponent?

Is there any hope of anything being done?
