Contract was 3NT with west GIB on lead. east and south are irrelevant.
West led 7. Now of course it makes no difference in this example which card is led.
But I think this indicates GIB has a preference for delaying taking it's tricks.
If Gib's calculations are fine no problem. But if calculation is wrong it loses a trick.

Also, if a GIB has the only trump left and no other (apparent) winners, GIB will let usually let you cash winners until the very last trick.
