Forum bug?

When I spot a post with "0 Replies" it always seems to show "0 Views".
Also I noticed that when I read a new (to me) topic, the count of "Views" does not change.

Perhaps "Views" is only being updated when there is a reply?

That's exactly what is happening. The forum software is old and highly customised, so it is unlikely to be fixed.

Will the Views count be updated if a reply is submitted and then deleted before another reply is submitted?

Yes (I just tried it and the views jumped from 24 to 30).
