what does this sequence mean

I was wondering what this sequence mean in a 2/1 context. Uncontested auction.

4 ? does it show solid ? or is it 6-6 weak? or is it splinter in support of ?

Can't be splinter since you already bid 2 diamonds naturally. Would depend on partnership understanding but I expect many would play it as RKCB for clubs.

Would 3 on the previous round have been a splinter? In that case, this is the way to show a very good hand with at least 5-5, probably more.

Otherwise I find it puzzling. RBCK for clubs is a possibility but that would have to be agreed, of course.
