Hi,

I am at a Tim Horton's with free WiFi. I can surf the net and be on this forum but I can't use the web browser version to get on BBO (just spins and then says connection lost). Does BBO block certain WiFi's?

Thanks,
Sue

No.

But BBO uses another port to connect to BBO servers (3336) which may be blocked by certain places (work, public wifis, etc).

Try http://www.bridgebas...ent.php?port=80

HI

I have a similar problem... i use wap connection ( in italy 3g wireless operator)
in few words it connects with an apn wap.omnitel.it and uses a proxy to connetc to the internet
born for cellphones it can be used to connect to the internet with a browser and it works everywhere... BUT BBO REPORTS A CONNECTION ERROR "lost connection"

i tried the link http://www.bridgebas...ent.php?port=80

but it doesn't work... i receive the same error...

any suggestion?

BBO does say that it doesn't support native proxies so you are probably out of luck.

Maybe someone else could help me? I'm sure there is a solution... but i'm not so cool to find it alone... ;)

I'm using Chrome on MacOS on a Southwest Airlines flight. WiFi works well, but BBO, both regular and preview versions, will not connect. I had high hopes for the port=80 trick but it seems to make no difference. Any other suggestions?

Results are no better with Safari or Firefox.

I'll try the BBO app on my phone next.

No better luck with the iPhone app. It seems to use the same code as the Web Preview version.

We recently changed the configuration of the preview to make it work with some types of firewalls.

Please retry.
