Windows user. Recently migrated to Mac. Playing on BBO is not a problem because of the web version. How do I open and view some of the old LIN files in my Mac?

DISCLAIMER: THis software, and his author, is not related to BBO in any way, expect for him bring a BBO user.
I'm not endorsing it, just pointing out it does exist.

Tenace is a hand viewer and editor which supports LIN.

I'm not a Mac user. Some dependencies of this program might need to be installed to be able to compile and run it.
Alternatively, some software (for example, Wine) allows you to run Windows binaries, including the original BBO client.

Thanks Gerardo. This maybe a bit too much for me, being a new Mac user. I will stick with my old Windows Laptop when I need to open any old LIN files

aaBridge is a .lin viewer that runs on windows, macs and linux (not on phones or tablets)
You must know the rules well - so that you may break them wisely!
