At trick seven, GIB takes the heart finesse when it should play two trumps ending in dummy and exit with a club. It stands to gain nothing by taking the heart finesse at this point.

Double-dummy, it probably has nothing to gain from an attempted end-play here. It "knows" that whenever West has the heart queen, east will win the club exit and lead a heart. Missing the QT987, it will always lose a heart when west has the heart queen.
