Bold bidding by GIB to find the Moysian fit in clubs. Pedestrian bidding would end up in hearts.

Can't explain this, but in general bid right away with GIB rather than balancing, or don't bid at all. GIB is very bad at balancing auctions.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
