Just play bridge robot. Human South

Bidding is a little wacky by me but GIB's description for each of my bids matches the hand. The question is why doesn't GIB (North) bid 3NT over 3?

I don't know but i had a challenge match on Sunday, with same bidding at both table.
Gib had 4 card club support and never showed support instead bid 3NT without a stopper.
To be fair the opponents were competing so probably had no way to show both clubs and play in 3NT.
Also, both our bidding showed a good hand which we had, but much of the points were shape and partial fit with Gibs suit. At least we weren't counting shortness in partner's suit like Gib does.

We also ran into a problem, where a non-jump 3 in competition showed a big hand. We had 16 hcp 6C + shape which was close. Are we supposed to pass with 16? Then responder should think we have 12-14 hcp and 3-4 clubs sometimes 5.

Anyways 5 only loses the 2 Aces and if our side had one of those aces and lose something else there would be a good play for 6. Meanwhile 3N had no hope.

According to GIB 3 can be made with just 11 points, so GIB only bids 3NT with extras. Perhaps with GIB it's best to force to game with 2 first; you'll get a 2NT response and can bid 3 if you feel like showing your clubs.

Probably doesn't make much sense for GIB to play 2 as 8+ points and 3 with 11+ points, with neither bid described as having an upper bound.

2 should have an upper bound. It really shouldn't be forcing.
The only reason it could be 8+ and not 6+ is responder will almost always have shape. But the shape could be a shortage in opener's suit which shouldn't be counted but is.

3 is 11+. Why would GIB bid 3NT with AJ9x behind the spade bidder and a 13 point hand? After all, partner might only have 11 points.

4 hearts, biddable clubs, 11+ points. Something like that. I believe it was mentioned above.
