Just play bridge robot. Human South.



Given the sorts of hands GIB opens in first seat. A 11 count with a singleton in partner's suit doesn't qualify as a hand with which North should force to game.

That's what the forcing NT is for.

Gib counts singletons fully in this type of situation I believe.
