Just play bridge robot. South is human.

This seems like a clear 5H bid by GIB. Anyone disagree?

I don't disagree, but I suspect 5H shows a good hand in the GIB system and so it gets stuck in a situation where it can never bid 5H in this auction.

Agree with Marmaduke. We are bidding 5 expecting to go down.
South has a 4-loser hand which makes bidding on look good.
What if South has a normal hand?
Sarcasm is a state of mind

I'm not sure what you're saying here. Can you show me a hand consistent with South's and the opponents' bidding where 5H is the wrong action by North? I've tried and I can't come up with one.
