Why on earth did both defenders fail set to set the slam? East underleading the A♦ is crazy. West not cashing his K♦ is beyond pale.

When paying customers post these and don't get a reply, we wonder why we are paying customers.

I understand East thinking South will rough his Ace on trick 3. But why would West not play his winning King when Notth is dummy?
