I suggest you use the first method, but however you do this, please make sure you exit the BBO program COMPLETELY before you start the download process.

Thanks to everyone who sent bug report concerning 4.1.9 and 4.2.0. As far as I can tell all of these bugs have been fixed in 4.2.1, but it would not surprise me in the least if I missed something or introduced some new bugs. Please let me know (prefer by e-mail to fred@bridgebase.com) if you find any problems.

New things in 4.2.1:

- You will find that the lobby list is a lot more "stable" (ie it does not jump around nearly as violently, especially if you are near the end of the list)

- Right click on the buttons to scroll the lobby list allows you to jump around the list without having to click several times. This isn't so easy to describe in words. Please try it to see what I mean!

- "Scoring" column is list of vugraph tables has been replaced by "Kibitzers" (ie number of people watching at each table)

- If you are watching a vugraph match and click the "Tables" button, you will see a list of vugraph tables (as opposed to tables in the Main Bridge Club)

- Server-generated right click menus can now contain sub-menus

- Server-generated right click menus are now possible when TD clicks on an empty seat in his/her tournament. We are planning a variety of new TD functions (and making it easier for TDs to initiate some existing functions) via right clicks. The server's ability to modify right click menus will allow us to introduce these changes without having to release a new version of the BBO client program.

I made a mistake in 4.2.1 that caused the new "jump" function to not work in some cases for non-yellows. Thanks to Julie5607 and Rain for helping me figure this out.

A new version has been created and uploaded now. The version number is still 4.2.1. If you downloaded 4.2.1 before roughly 4:30 EDT (22:30 CET) on Sunday, I suggest you download again.
