I go down in games all the time, even cold ones, but I can not imagine passing here. With this NT range parnter may even have a good 10, passing looks whimpy to me.

PASS. There comes a day when the green card is more than an option. 8 loser hand, 3343. Count me out, especially at this format.

So as a corollary to this question:  You hold:
Dealer: North
Vul: E/W
Scoring: BAM
♠ A6
♥ K107652
♦ 105
♣ K86

Partner opens 1NT, playing the same 13-16 HCP count.    What is your strategy for this hand?

With this hand, I would bid 4♥ directly after transfer.

This is an easy game bid over a 13-16 NT. there are MANY 13-14 point hand games that pard should be passing an invite with that make game cold or good. Anyone who invites with this counts points.

BAM is MP's, but you bid like you're playing imps? ;)

Yes, I was just wondering about that... BAM strategy should be very similar to MP strategy, the only difference is that the 'field' is more predictable.
