RKCB or quantitative?

This would be definitely be quant for me since 4m then 4N must be RKCB for spades.

Surely 4 is natural here? I wasn't sure whether the standard meaning of 4 should be "diamonds" or "I like spades".

4D should be a big raise to 4S. Agree that 4C is natural, and it looks to me like 4N is quant.

Yes it probably is. I'm not really familiar with this art 3c treatment

Eh it's just standard 2/1. Clubs or single-suited too strong for 3.

I know what the convention is but not the followups. Now you have shown the spade single-suiter you don't have clubs most of the time anyway so you could argue why treat responder's minors differently. Okay opener is sometimes 6-4 - I suppose you may as well use 4C to catch this...

100 % this. If your options are 3N and 4N, and you have a way to raise the last bid suit (here 4D clearly is that), then 4N is quantitative.

Opener:

1) AKJ9xx x AQx AQx
[a 2 opener?]
2) AK9xxx x AQx AQx
[hardly a 2 opener, or...?]

Responder:

a) x AKTxx K9xx Jxx
b) x ATxxx K9xxx Kx
c) xx ATxxx K9x Kxx

4th suit at the 4 level is typically best used as a good raise. If Responder had wanted to introduce diamonds they could have done it the last time around. It is not like a quantitative 4NT rules out finding a diamond fit either assuming natural continuations rather than any sort of ace-showing (ie 5 now is usually going to be a max 6034).
