i often only see references to tournaments here when a player has some type of greivance to sound off, so i figured i would share my first experience with bbo tournaments - a positive one.

i've been playing here for a long time, but have little interest in playing a tournament with a pickup partner, and until yesterday my regular partner and i hadn't really considered playing tournaments here (not sure why).

yesterday we played in two.

first was sfbp's BRidgeBRowser Awareness tournament (imp/survivor) followed up by belladonna's Friends Only tournament (mp).

throughout both we ran into friendly opponents, and even friendlier directors, and overall had a great time.

yes that is one of the problems with BBO Tourneys, they can be fun
