Perhaps when you create a set you could add drop down menus to specify ...

Dealer
North
South
Per Board
* East
* West

Vulnerability
None
North-South
Per Board
* East-West
* All

Your position
North
South

Your choices could be encoded in the set name.

* Reserve for possible future use.

Thanks for putting together this service. I tried it and liked it a lot!

(For those of us that like to review hands while we go, is it possible to allow us to toggle the behavior of whether to skip_finished or not?)

sieong: I was planning to have a checkbox like that, but did not quite know how to do it, so I made a simpler solution. Hopefully it will be added in the future.

Trick13: Yes I want to add so you can choose if the creator of a set or his/her partner is dealer. Should be an easy fix (was included before I re-made the site). Vulnerability will probably not be a choice, but instead automatically added depending on board number.

Bbradley62: I did not know where to put the thread. There are two sub-forums on bidding, and one called General bridge discussion.

KurtGodel: Yes, I'll probably add an undo button to pass in the future.

Would it be possible for each partner to specify their own hand, and also to specify opponents bidding? This would make it a lot nicer to bid bidding challenges with my partner.

Trying this now. Very very nice.

Could you include dealer and vul for each board?

Cool tool! Ditto for wanting dealer and vul.

If you could hook up with some sort of bot, enabling competition would be quite useful.

Sweet, I see the vuls.

Any way you could move the suits below the numbers for the bidding, a la BBO? It's nice to have a familiar interface, and it's also nice not to have to hit 1 and scroll the extra distance beyond pass.

Giving this a bump. I use it pretty regularly with a friend now.

Hi, website is great.

There is one thing is missing for me.
All hands diagram after finished board and "Double Dummy" ( minmax for board - number of tricks NS or EW can take in each colour ) would be fantastic.

I've made a website where you can practice bidding: www.correctcontract.com
What's wrong with BBO for bidding practice? Nothing! BBO is a great site, but it requires both players to be online and logged in at the same time, and in order to use it on your phone/tablet you have to download a special app.

Correct Contract works in any modern browser, and the main feature is that you do not have to be logged in at the same time as your partner. So you bid a couple of boards and come back later to se if your partner has responded.

Edit: The previous errors seems to be gone *fingers crossed*

The "internal server error" is solid now for any newly created userid. The id I created months ago works fine but apparently no new userids will work so I don't have anyone to bid with. Even new userids which i create myself are not able to log in. Any ideas? I really like this site and want to be able to use it with partners.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application.

dboxley: Hmm, that is odd. I just tried to create a new account and it worked fine. Are you using special characters (like åäö or similar) in the username or password? I'll check the error logs too and see if I find anything.

Not sure if I am doing anything wrong but it's not working. I am able to create the id but after I log off I can no longer log back in. As I said, my old id still works fine, it's just the new ones that don't work.

Aah! I tried this now and indeed it did not work. I recently made a minor update and unfortunately there was a bug. It should work now, but you'll have to create new accounts. If you give me the names of the test accounts I can delete them.

Thank you very much for reporting the bug!

The ones I can remember are "bernking, test, testtest". There may be a couple of others but I can't remember.

Thanks

I just signed up and tried to add a partner as a friend. But I got directed to a page that just said "hejsan".

wjomlex: Whoops! That seems like some test thing which made it into the web version. Thank you for notifying, I'll look into it ASAP.

No, it isn't, though (parts of) it may appear in the future. It is coded in Python using the Flask framework. My nick is Kungsgeten on Github too.
