2 says "Limited raise raise...".
Is it a limited self-raise bid? a new bid?

Description is "Limit major raise" - Redouble was a support double. I'm guessing the 2 description shows something like 6-9 total points, 5+ , so 2 is the limit raise range [ie 10-12] bid showing 5+ . I wonder what 2 shows in this auction?

I'd expect 2 to be natural, whereas 2 is a cue bid of opponent's (implied) suit and is therefore artificial with game invitational values.

Edit: But, I do agree with Lycier that "Limit major raise" is a dumb description and should be removed.

Maybe that's in GIB's library of bids, but in this auction, West is showing 4+ diamonds and East shows 2+ diamonds so E-W may have more diamonds than N-S. Both red suits are implied on this auction.

Also, note that the human player's 4 is described as a splinter, which shows the pitfalls of bidding without knowing what GIB system bids are supposed to show.
