My double says "1,10+hcp,biddable ,10-TPs".

1- " 1 " is impossible in this sequence.

2- "10+hcp,10-TPs",it is also impossible.
If I really have 10+hcp,I will redouble after double.
If I really have 10+hcp,it is impossible for my hand only with 10-TPs.
Logical error.

Your lucky North Gib didn't go, "oh partner has 10+ hcp we must have game" and bids 4!?
Sarcasm is a state of mind

Another hand where I think 3 by west is plenty. Shouldn't jump on 8 HCP when south bids, and should be more conservative about jumping in minors. Jump to 2M on approximately this strength is OK after something like 1d-x-p-? since 1M can be nothing & 2M is not so high, but should be more conservative when have to jump to 3m and especially when have to jump to 4m, and in general when responder bids since now free bid show some value already instead of could be nothing. Not jump every time have 10 total point regardless of what level have to go to.

It shows this due bug current version is having.

It wasn't like that in previous version.

However it's fixed for next and Double shows -> -- 3+ ; 10+ HCP; biddable ; 10- total points

In theory is possible to have that hand.

1M - Double - ?

  • Redouble -> excludes the possibility of having fit. Or at least you/GIB should have huge hand which doesn't fit nowhere else.
  • 2NT -> is 3+ but 11+TP
  • 3M -> weak raise
  • 2M -> 6-10TP, 3+ fit

So with hand like:

Kxx
Kxx
KJxx
xxx
you would have 10HCP, 10TP and same bidding ( probably about bidding ).

Still don't see why it should be "10+ HCP" and not 10- HCP. Basically you are saying it's exactly 10 HCP. I think it should be something like 8-10 HCP, 3 hearts, biddable diamonds.

  • 2NT -> is 3+ but 11+TP
This is really non-standard. 2nt is usually played as 4+ fit. Redouble normally includes hands with 3 card fit and 10+ HCP. So one can show 3 cd limit raise with redouble then support at lowest level next round, and stronger by jump supporting.

And can we fix the issue of West jumping to the 4 level vulnerable on an 8 count with heart wastage also? That to me is more important than fixing the meaning of the last double.
