When gib is presented with a problem (like fly ace or not, cover an honor or not)
it will sometimes hitch if the problem is difficult. That is fine and natural, so I would
suggest there be a an artificial pause on plays that don't make a difference.
At least on the "non race" tournaments.

I think GIB is already programmed to insert a random pause before following with a singleton. This is documented.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.
Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. m

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,

I only remember that there are random pauses included for humans' autoplayed singletons. I also only notice GIB hitch when he's about to show out and has to choose from another suit.

This mandatory coffee-house makes me start to believe GIB Bridge is the same as human Bridge.

My bad. It was autoplay singletons. No need for GIB to hitch as there is no noticeable delay in following with a choice. Unless connectivity is poor.
