Apparently, the much-bally-hoo'd fix that results in robots cashing setting tricks on opening lead against 7NT is limited specifically to grand slams, if this hand is any indication. Another participant re-raised him/herself to 7NT in the same auction; East doubled and led off the ♣AK. Note, here, though that South settled for the small slam in NT and was rewarded when East neither doubled nor found the ♣ lead. Those Souths who reached 6♥ were unlucky to have the wrong hand on lead; West found the ♣ lead from 10x that East could not find from AKxx.
