Could someone explain please the circumstances where a robot will auto-replace a human who vacates a seat mid-hand? No doubt it has been explained ad nauseam, but I remain confused.
I know that it happens sometimes, but I also find sometimes that when my ISP boots me from a table mid-hand I return to find place taken by another human who sat in a vacant seat not occupied by robot.
It makes no difference to me, the bootee, whether a robot or a human replaces my seat, but I am curious.
